My name is Tim Harris Jr. Not yet 30 years of age, I am a seasoned veteran who has experienced most of what the web industry has to offer. I have encountered a full range of scenarios from small clients who expect Trump Treatment with an Arby’s budget to large clients who demand the best and have the budget to support their vision. In my years of being in the web industry, I have learned that no matter what the budget parameters are, there is simply no amount of money that can fix the void between artist and client. The only way to solve this problem is through communication, an art I continue to perfect to this very day.
I started in art as an oil painter. In college, I was not sure whether or not I wanted to major in 3D animation or music composition. But as soon as the web looked like it was here to stay, I decided to focus on the technology required to fuel the web ’s growth as a dominant advertising medium.

Visionwise came to my employer with the task of finishing a DVD assignment for the Texas Parks and Wildlife. The assignment involved an html book which can be read by the user. It involved an elaborate plant and animal database, driven in XML, which the user could then query to select the plants they wanted to plant in their garden, print the plants they had selected and then take the list to a nursery or home depot. Users also have the ability to visit several tour destinations in the state of Texas through a series of pictures.
Probably the most important aspect of the DVD assignment was the planning section. The planning section consists of a survey. Based on the user's answers, the planning results are generated and displayed. The results are also available to print as well.
